Description
Laughing Orchard is a perfect location for co-working/co-living of a small group of digital nomads or vacationers. Located 5 minutes walk from town, but separate and isolated, it provides you space to both meditate and work, while also remaining a great location for exploring the beautiful island of Sao Miguel. Two kitchens are available for guests to cook with a few good restaurants walking distance. We have two wi-fi mesh networks and a good amount of shared workspace. Internet hotspots are available to rent, if you like working in a nearby park or cafe. We keep our co-living groups small for maximum comfort of the guests.

How to join our events
Apply
1.
Select the event you would like to attend, click “Want to apply” and fill out a short questionnaire. Wait for an email with payment instructions.
Pay

Within 5 days, pay a 50% deposit to hold your spot. Make travel arragements.

Look for an invitation for joining our whatsapp group chat where all additional details will be discussed in the time leading up to the event.

One hectare of traditional fruit garden, young permaculture food forest and vegetable garden.
Sauna and cold plunge.
10 minute walk from local hot springs, 15 minute drive from a black sand Atlantic ocean beach.
Organic meals with vegan and vegetarian options, twice per day (breakfast and lunch). Prepared with love, attention, and care from locally-sourced ingredients (some from our own gardens).
Dinners are self-organized by the participants and restaurant options are available within walking distance. One of two kitchen always remains available for guests.
Logistics
Location: Furnas, Sao Miguel, Azores (fly into Ponta Delgada, with direct flights from New York and Boston).
Transportation: You’re responsible for airfare and transportation to and from the airport. Taxi ride costs 45 euro one way. We can assist in organizing shared rides if needed.
